Join the Public Hall team on Sunday 2nd November at 2pm for another Afternoon with The Adrian Bell Society when there will be readings from Adrian’s famous country diaries, journals plus an array of some of the twenty five books that he wrote in his lifetime.
“We can still enjoy excerpts from his diaries, The Countryman’s Notebook, in the Eastern Daily Press each week, all these years after he first started compiling it in 1950″, said, John Ford, Chairman of the Adrian Bell Society.
Special guest reader, Helen McDermott, local TV celebrity and one of the patron’s of the Public Hall, will be joining John Ford, Chairman of the group, and fellow members for what promises to be another enjoyable and informative fundraising afternoon event.
