E.C.H. has a brand new home online

A very generous company (that wishes to remain anonymous) has built East Coast Hospice a sparkly, new, all singing, all dancing website FOR FREE and ECH are very proud of it! 

It has taken a considerable amount of work to build the interactive site for the charity that are fundraising to build a ten-bed specialist palliative care facility for the community of Waveney and Great Yarmouth. The website company offered their services back in October 2014 because they could see the great work the small team at ECH is doing and wanted to lend a hand. This quote from Mother Teresa comes to mind – “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving…so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead.”

So for the last few months the company has been working very closely with the charity to create a new online home that accurately represents what ECH is striving for; to resolve the lack of end of life care in the area.

The vast majority (nearly 80%) of people when surveyed say they would like to be cared for at home or in a hospice; however in this area patients do not have this choice. Their choice is only to be at home or on an acute hospital ward; in the 21st Century this is not acceptable, and ECH are trying to put this right.
