St Elizabeth Hospice shops

St Elizabeth Hospice has opened  new shops in Waveney and urgently needs volunteer van drivers and donations of secondhand items.

The charity, which provides care for local people living with a progressive illness in South Norfolk and East Suffolk, is appealing for drivers who can spare a few hours a week or month to suit delivering stock from its Harleston warehouse to the Hospice shops across Waveney and Great Yarmouth.

If you would like to donate stock – such as secondhand clothes, books and bric-a-brac – you can drop it off at the shops in Smallgate, Beccles or Thouroughfare, Harleston or St Mary’s Street, Bungay or Bevan Street, Lowestoft, between 9.30am-4.30pm.

All funds raised will help the charity provide its services free of charge to local people.

If you would like to find out more about volunteering please email [email protected].

Or you can apply for any of the Hospice’s volunteer vacancies at www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk

The shops opened in recent months and have been well supported locally but the Hospice is appealing for more help to fund its vital work.
