The gardens opening in September and early October 2014 for the National Gardens Scheme in Norfolk have plenty to interest visitors: exotic annuals, mellow coloured shrubs and rich perennial borders.

Sunday 7^th September

BRADENHAM HALL

Plantsman’s garden with colour-themed herbaceous borders with extensive range of perennials. Box-edged rose and shrub borders. Woodland garden, pond and bog area. Newly planted orchard and vegetable garden. Wildlife area. Glasshouses.

NEW THE OLD RECTORY, TASBURGH, Norwich

A creative restoration of an early C19 rectory garden carried out over the last 30 years. The site is part of the iron-age hill fort overlooking the valley. Generally a verdant garden with a magnificent cedar, extensive topiary and yew hedges with an enclosed Italian garden containing colour

Saturday 11^th October

BLICKLING HALL ESTATE, Aylsham,  NR11 6NF.
