Aylsham App

Aylsham App

An ‘Apportunity’ for Aylsham

Aylsham App to be launched on 28th June 2016 at 6.00 for 6.30pm, Aylsham Town Hall

We’d be delighted if you could join us for the launch of an exciting new initiative for Aylsham!

On 28th June 2016, 6.30pm at Aylsham Town Hall, the town’s Business and Enterprise Forum (ABEF) will introduce what is believed to be the only App for an individual town in East Anglia. The App, available for android and iPhone platforms will be a one-stop-shop for both the community and for visitors, offering information on local eateries, businesses, events, transport, walks, voluntary organisations, clubs and much more.

The Aylsham App has been made possible by funding from ABEF itself, Broadland District Council, Aylsham High School and Aylsham Town Council. It has been developed by Aylsham-based company Norfolk Geeks who have also redesigned the ABEF website, www.discoveraylsham.org which will be linked to the App.

The Aylsham App and its associated website represent an important and unique development for the town and its surrounding area. Not only will it provide a showcase for local businesses and other organisations but it will also serve as an invaluable guide for the growing number of visitors to this historic town.

The App will be demonstrated by Norfolk Geeks and there will be the opportunity to speak to them and to representatives from ABEF. Meanwhile, a short piece about the App is attached to this email.
