Due to the success and popularity of Thalia’s Batik Prints Exhibition, Anteros Arts Foundation have asked that we keep the exhibition running for another week.
All of the artwork in the exhibition is for sale and very reasonably priced. The batik prints would make great birthday and christmas presents and money will go towards supporting a fantastic charity.
An exhibition of original Batik Prints created by members of Thalia Theatre Company will be exhibited in the gallery at Anteros Arts Foundation in Norwich from August 31st – September 6th 2011.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from 10am – 5pm (closed on Sunday).
Thalia’s Batik Prints Exhibition culminates a six month project in which members have explored African culture, in particular textiles and the art of batik print making. Using traditional batik processes, members have created visually captivating one-off prints especially for the exhibition at Anteros. Throughout the week the public will be able to view and purchase the artworks in the exhibition.
A private view (invitation only) to launch the exhibition will be hosted by Thalia Theatre Company on weds 31st August. The exhibition can be found at the Anteros Arts Foundation, next to the King of Hearts Café on Fye Bridge Street, Norwich.
Thalia Theatre Company is an independent, educational ‘arts’ related provider for disabled people, currently operating day opportunities in Norwich and Dereham. Thalia values a fully inclusive society where everyone’s talents and skills are recognised and celebrated.
