Join us for the Beccles Christmas Lights Switch On 2015 on Friday 27th November.  

This event is one of the best in the area, and it’s going to be another fantastic year.

The fun begins with the lights being switched on at 6pm by the cast from Jack & The Beanstalk, along with The Mayor and Beach Radio.

Amongst the live entertainment acts on the main stage will be Tom Elgie, The Lowestoft & Beccles Rock Choir with street entertainment provided by the ever popular Suffolk School of Samba plus a few surprises!

There is always a great variety of stalls selling festive gifts, crafts, toys and decorations alongside wonderful street food and drink including of course mulled wine!

Stocks Funfair will be present with a variety of children’s rides and our fantastic range of independent shops, which is our pride and joy, will be open late on the night too.

There is even live Reindeer and Father Christmas will be taking up his usual residence in the grotto in the Church Tower.

And as if this isn’t enough the popular Beccles Christmas Tree Trail will be launched on the night (running through until Christmas Eve) and Hungate Church will be staging its ever popular three day Christmas Tree Festival.
