Carnival Parade & Family Fun Weekend

This years event takes place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August 2014.

Over the Weekend we have lined up a great programme of events for the whole family to enjoy.

We are delighted to welcome you to this year’s Beccles Carnival weekend. As you may be aware, the Beccles Carnival dates back to the pre 1900’s and only not taking place during the war years.

Saturday 16th is children’s fun day which includes fancy dress, teddy bears picnic, Glam Gran 2013, Beccles Bonny Baby… Stalls, Stocks Funfair

Sunday 17th is our grand Carnival Parade which leaves Roys Carpark at 1300 and parades around the town and ends up at Beccles Quay where there are stalls, displays, Beccles Carnival static car and steam display, Stocks Funfair.

The aim of the Carnival is to bring the community together, attract visitors, and have an affordable family event Beccles can be proud of.

The Carnival brings together individuals, voluntary groups, clubs, associations, local businesses, and tourists.

Entry to this year’s Carnival weekend Quayside events is via donations, without this we would not be able to put on such a great event for the town and surrounding areas.
