In response to many requests Richard Hobbs, the well-known plantsman and widely travelled botanist, has agreed to run three specialist workshops at his garden in Little Plumstead in Norfolk. His popular garden at 16 Witton Lane opens each year for the National Gardens Scheme and contains many unusual and rare bulbs and plants including the National collection of Muscari. The shady conditions are also ideal for ferns and other woodland plants.

The courses will deal with all practical aspects of identification and cultivation of bulbs, seeds and ferns. This is a great opportunity for course participants to develop their knowledge of a wide range of plants and flowers and benefit from Richard’s extensive experience.

Richard has run many courses for students, professionals and amateur gardeners. He has also written several articles about bulbs for RHS publications.

These workshops will make excellent and practical presents for Christmas or birthdays, and so gift vouchers will be available.
