Having lived in the countryside for many years, the joy of nature can be explored and portrayed in a creative form. Seeing one of our helicopters land can be an interesting sight - but it’s essential that you stay safe. We've put together some tips for helicopter safety so if you see Anglia One (Norwich) or Anglia Two (Cambridge) across the region, here's how you can do so without risk to yourself:

🚁If you see our aircraft circling around your location and you're in an open area of land, please move to the edge. Dogs should also be placed on leads.🚁Don’t downplay the downwash from the helicopter rotors; they are extremely powerful, noisy and will throw dust and debris into the air.🚁Never approach a helicopter when engines are running and rotor blades are turning, and always give the crew plenty of space.🚁Respect the dignity of the patient and their family by not taking photos or video while we place them on the helicopter.🚁On departure, there could be a change of plan and the helicopter may need to return to the area, so stay out of the landing site until the aircraft is completely out of view.#airambulance #helicopter #emergencyservice ... We are very pleased to be able to announce a visit from the 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗫𝟱 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 who will be having a day out at the Museum on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. We are expecting about 20 of these classic Japanese cars, with their proud owners and keepers, to arrive with us from about 1130 onwards on the day. We note from their website that they intend to stay until about 1530. It will be good to mix a little Oriental engineering in amongst our own classic American and British machines – the nearest we can get to anything Japanese is a hand-cranked air raid siren! With a little sunshine (fingers crossed) the effect of restored aircraft and feisty sport cars together in the same place will be worth plenty of photos.𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 @ tockify.com/nandsavmuseum/detail/192/1713690000000𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻If you would like to know more about forthcoming events at the Museum throughout the summer, go to aviationmuseum.site/events#𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗙𝗹𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗻 #𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗚 ...
