The next members meeting of the flower club will be on Monday 5th March when Jo Poulter will be demonstrating ‘Over the Rainbow’. The members exercise will be ‘Kaleidoscope’. The meeting will be held in the Emmanuel Rooms, Boyscott Lane, Bungay NR15 1DG. Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.15pm start. Refreshments will be available and guests are very welcome.’

Over 80 Garden owners and members of the press attended the launch of the National Garden Scheme booklet Norfolk Gardens open for charity, 2018 which was held at Houghton Hall. The booklet contains details of over 60 beautiful gardens that will be opening their gates this year, 11 of which are opening for the first time.

Raveningham Gardens opens for the snowdrop season from Thursday, February 1 to Wednesday, February 28 (closed all Saturdays). See drifts of snowdrops in the main garden from 11am to 4pm (dusk if earlier).

In February there is possibly no better activity than getting out with the children and being in a garden. Carpets of snowdrops are a spectacular sight to behold and over 100 gardens will open throughout England and Wales for the third annual National Garden Scheme Snowdrop Festival.

Mike King, President of Norwich in Bloom retires by securing a gold award for Norwich. Mike who is also a Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) City Host has been president of Norwich in Bloom for 13 years.
