Oulton Broad Library near Lowestoft is offering special summer theatre workshops for children aged 8 to 11 as part of the library’s summer reading challenge.

The workshops will be led by local actress and director Agnes Lillis who is currently playing the lead role in the Seagull Theatre production of the Vicar of Dibley.

There will be three two-hour workshop sessions from 11am to 1pm on the 12th, 19th and 28th August 2013 with a performance on the final session. The total cost for taking part in the workshops is £10 and there are 20 places available.

The workshop will be held in the pavilion in Nicholas Everitt Park near the library where there are lots of places for parents and carers to get refreshments or watch the final performance.

As there are only 20 places for the workshops anyone interested should contact the library on 01502 583135 as soon as possible to book or for more information.
