daisy cottage

On September 6th Daisy Cottage at Roughton will be opening for the National Gardens Scheme in Norfolk for the last time. Owners Geraldine Maelzer and Anne Callow will be retiring but hopefully staying in the local area with a smaller plot to look after!

The garden is a 2 acre wildlife haven with mixed borders full of autumn colour plus a more formal Japanese style garden. Geraldine said “the weather this summer has often been unseasonably cool and dull but our plants are loving it and the garden is full of colour so we will be going out on a high!”

Fiona Black, County Organiser, commented “Geraldine and Anne are tremendous supporters of the NGS and have raised over £2500 for the vital nursing and caring charities we support. We are also delighted that they will be joining our team of garden support volunteers next year”
