Death of a Salesman
Arthur Miller
Death of a Salesman – Arthur Miller’s most well-known play – examines the choices we make in order to make our lives seem worthwhile.
At the age of 60 and after a lifetime working as a salesman Willie Loman is cast aside, his usefulness exhausted in the ruthless world of business. Over a period of nearly four decades in pursuit of “success” he has created a false persona – built on pretence and deception. But now the proverbial chickens are coming home to roost and Willie is losing his grip on reality.
What is a man to do when he believes he is worth more dead than alive?
