The Mirth of Mervyn puts the ‘Bang’ back into the ‘Baby Boomers’ on a road-trip of Norfolk!

A nice sprinking of ‘Wit, Wisdom and Warmth’ is in store for audiences at Ovington Village Hall on Saturday 15th November at 7.30pm, courtesy of seasoned satirical songwriter and comedian Mervyn Stutter with support from the arts and community development charity Creative Arts East.

Mervyn Stutter – musician, actor, comedian, song and script writer, brings all of his talents and experience together in a show to delight! This Champion of the ‘Baby Boomers’ astute perspective on life and current affairs taps into the comedy of the ridiculous and unnervingly recognisable situations that people of ‘a certain vintage’ find themselves in!

His comedy writing for Radio 2 and Radio 4 has gained a huge following, young Fringe Festival goers have crowned him ‘Top Bloke’! and performers and critics alike love his razor sharp observations, hilarious and sometimes touching songs of the perils and pitfalls of ‘maturity’ upon the once flower-powered and invincible youth of the 1960’s.

Reviewers say:
“The Comedy Voice of the Baby Boom Generation” – Daily Telegraph “Stutter works the crowd like the showman he is.” – The Observer
