Magna Carta activities for children at Halesworth Library

A children’s workshop celebrating the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta is being held at Halesworth Library next Wednesday (27 May) from 2pm to 4pm.

The workshops will include a range of Magna Carta themed activities including mixing paint in a medieval style and painting your own shield in golden ochre and venetian red. Children will also be able to add their views to the library’s children’s charter with a quill pen.

The activity is aimed at children aged seven and above and it’s a good idea to book by calling the library on 01986 875095.
