A fabulous Framlingham Christmas Festival will take place on Friday 13th December with late night shopping from 6pm to 9pm.
The Framlingham Business Association is putting on a community Christmas event to celebrate the start of the festive season alongside it’s vibrant community and variety of businesses.
With trees, garlands, lights and festive stalls to complement the wide range of independent shops in Framlingham, selling wonderful gifts, stocking fillers as well as home made produce and festive fayre, the town will be buzzing with Christmas atmosphere. Santa will arrive by horse and cart and invite children to share their Christmas wishes with him in his grotto as well as having their own ride in his horse and cart. Community groups will entertain the young and old with table top games, a lucky dip, mass balloon release, face painting, pirates puppet show and human fruit machine, treasure hunt, snow machine and popcorn man and machine.
When stomachs start to rumble and the scents of a hog roast, roast chestnuts and mulled wine permeate the air there will be plenty of choice of local produce to eat and drink. And the raffle is sure to spice up the evening with cash prizes of £100 and £250. A large signed photograph of Ed Sheeran performing at Madison Square Garden which is sure to get the hearts beating of the younger generation and for the older generation there will be lovely prizes to encourage ticket sales, including a meal for two at the Wentworth, £50 voucher to use with Ticketmaster, £50 voucher for Impulse, a Christmas cake, breakfast for 2 at the common room and many more.
The Framlingham Business Association has been going for over 3 years now and has over a hundred members who are committed to making the town a special place to live, work and play and they all look forward to welcoming you for a magical Christmas Festival with memories to last.
