Havago Festival

Mon 18th & Tue 19th August 2014

The Forum

Millennium Plain, Bethel Street, Norwich, NR2 1TF

What is the Havago Festival at The Forum?

It’s a unique and FREE opportunity for visitors to have a go at a new skill and meet with some of Norfolk’s most fantastic Artists and Creatives.

Take your pick from painting, dancing, banjo playing, printing, cake making, pottery, hair styling… with the help of artists, crafts people and creatives from across Norfolk.

All these people will be on site at The Forum for two days ready to share their skills with members of the public and showcase their work. Music, performance and dance groups will add to the mix in to the early evening.

The Havago Festival is brought to you by “ME AND ER”, aka Alison Atkins and Cordelia “Doo” Spalding.

Alison and Doo are both graduates of NUA and are often seen at arts events across Norfolk and beyond with their trusty horsebox, which will be parked outside The Forum.

Ali & Doo said:

“Not only does this free event give people the chance to have a go at something they probably haven’t tried before, it is also a showcase for Norfolk’s fantastic Creative Community.

“We’ll be giving visitors Haveago tokens and they can ‘exchange’ these with stall holders for the chance to “havago”.

The Havago Festival at the Forum is free and starts each day at approximately 10am.
