If you weren’t at The World Premiere of Who Cares? at the Cut in Halesworth on the 14th January 2011, you can watch it here, because you missed a punchy film that tells it how it is for the young adult carers who make personal sacrifices to parent their parents.

Around 120 people attended the event to see the short film Who Cares?. A question and answer session took place after the screening of the film, giving the audience the chance to answer any questions from the audience. Another short film and music video produced by the group whilst working on the main film were also screened.
Background:
Suffolk Artlink has been working since September with a group of Young Adult Carers who have devised and shot this film because they wanted to raise awareness in the community of what it’s like to be a young carer. They wanted to tell people about what it means to be a YAC; how caring for a family member affects the lives of these young adults and the diversity of the roles that being a young carer can involve.
Suffolk Artlink: improving people’s health and wellbeing through arts and creativity.
