Knit Your Own Jewellery!

Top jeweller and textile artist Alison Kramarchuk will show people how to make precious, delicate, gold and silver, knitted wire jewellery at the last of Black Dog Arts garden inspired one day workshops from 11am to 3.30pm on Saturday 19th June 2010.

Alison’s own highly original, intricately knitted, jewellery collections can be seen on her website: www.beautifulmetal.co.uk along with her stunning, designer textiles.

As well as jewellery, Alison’s other work includes textile wall pieces and sculptural work for the inside and outside.
She also undertakes commissions.

Alison is the perfect artist to lead one of Black Dog Arts garden inspired workshops as her own inspiration comes from the structural forms she observes in the natural environment.

The workshop is open to complete beginners and experienced artists alike and will cost £25 full price or £20 concessions.
(Concessions apply to the over 50s, students and people in receipt of benefits)

Each of the people who take part in the workshop will leave with a piece of jewellery that they will be able to show (and sell if they want to) as part of this year’s Black Dog Arts Bungay Gardens Art Trail which takes place from 12noon to 4pm on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2010.
