The Keeper’s Daughter showcase brand new Frankenstein!

On Saturday March 16th The Keeper’s Daughter host an evening of entertainment at Diss Corn Hall with the premiere of two brand new shows; one created by local teenagers from The Keeper’s Daughter Young Company and the other, based upon Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, by the professional members.  The evening will act as an overview of the company’s vast array of community work, including the launch of their Young Company summer season.

The Keeper’s Daughter specialise in work with young people and touring imaginative adaptations of classic stories throughout East Anglia.  Last year saw their Hound of the Baskervilles sell out venues throughout the region.

Artistic Director Mark Finbow commented: “This year we’re hosting two intensive acting summer schools and filming our first ever web-series for children.  So if you want to discover what The Keeper’s Daughter are all about and how you can get involved the Showcase is the perfect way to do just that.”

The Springtime showcase is acting as a fundraiser for the Young Company Summer Season.

“Going to see a production by The Keeper’s Daughter is like walking a tightrope: gripping, dangerous, slightly insane and extraordinarily entertaining. Theatre should always be this vital and thrilling. Long may they continue.” – Paul Monkhouse, Diss Express
