Cromer hospital fete

Cromer Hospital is delighted to announce more attractions for its annual summer fete on Saturday 30th June 2018.

The fete, which is being held on the main Cromer Hospital site, will be officially opened by ‘Normal for Norfolk’ star, Desmond McCarthy at 10am, with the fete running all day until 3pm.

Back by popular demand, international clown duo ‘Razz and Auntie Pearl’ will be performing two shows at 11am and 1.30pm.

Razz said: “We are very pleased to be attending the Cromer Hospital fete again this year, and we would like to dedicate our shows in memory of Mary Northway, a great lady for helping the hospital. We look forward to seeing everyone there!”

In between each of Razz and Pearl’s performances, Invidia Voices will be showcasing their talent with a performance at 12pm.

The East Anglian Star Wars Club, which is made up of Star Wars enthusiasts who have each created their own Star Wars costumes to be as accurate as possible, are also preparing for a visit to the fete, where Darth Vader will be joined by Stormtroopers.

Other key attractions at the fete include performances by Dance Attitude at 10.30am, an appearance by a Bumble Bee Transformer, traditional fete games, henna tattoos, First Responders, a BBQ, a car boot, craft stalls and much more entertainment still to be confirmed.

Money raised from the event will go towards the Cromer Hospital fund, part of the N&N Hospital Charity and Cromer Community and Hospital Friends.

Anita Martins, Matron at Cromer Hospital said: “We’re delighted to be announcing more attractions to our fete line-up! There really will be something for everyone to enjoy so we hope many people will save the date.”
