18th Century Hand Coloured Print of

Norwich Castle for Sale at Norwich Antiques Fair

The award winning Norwich Fleamarket returns to St. Andrew’s Halls on Saturday 13 September 2014 for its first antiques fair after the summer break with 100 tables of antiques and vintage.

Several new stallholders are joining the fair and owner Helen Leith said

“more and more new stallholders are joining us at every event, a sign that we are definitely viewed as the premier antiques fair in the city”.

Amongst the many thousands of items of fresh stock for sale at the September fair is an
eighteenth century hand-tinted print of Norwich Castle from an engraving by an unknown artist, dated 1785.

A similar, untinted example, is in the Norfolk Museums Collection, housed at Norwich Castle.

The print is offered for sale at  £40 by Kirsty Walker, one of the Fleamarket’s regular stallholders, who discovered it in a charity shop in Lowestoft.
