A highly skilled, comic street/circus act. See Mr Spin perform a beautiful three-ball juggle, diabolo, Chinese devil-sticking with baseball bats, one ball manipulation and an eight ball juggle, mixed with mad capped antics and an incredible sense of fun, not to mention a few hat tricks thrown in! This all culminates in him jumping on to an eight-foot zigzag unicycle (of his own design) from which he juggles three baseball bats while balancing a glass of water on his head!

Dove and Boweevil

Hay Hill – 5.00pm, 6.00pm and 7.10pm

Dove and Boweevil
Expect an energetic and eclectic gumbo pot of roots, blues and soul, influenced by the Mississippi, Bourbon Whiskey and some voodoo music.

Golden Star Morris

Gentleman’s Walk – 5.00pm, 6.10pm and 7.20pm

Golden Star Morris
Formed in 1979 in the pub of the same name on Colegate in Norwich, Golden Star were the first Morris side in the area with men and women dancing together – quite a radical thing at the time! They perform the traditional Morris dances from the Cotswolds with both sticks and hankies. With 20 or so dancers and several musicians Golden Star boasts a fool, a wicker hobby horse ‘Champion’ and a collecting vessel ‘The Lollypop Man’ – all of which can be frequently spotted when they dance!

Writers' Centre Norwich

St Gregory’s Green – 5.10pm, 6.20pm and 7.30pm

Live Lit from the Writers’ Centre Norwich explores many styles of live literature, with Cat Woodward, Shey Hargreaves and an open mic platform. Cat Woodward is a local performance poet with performances including We Love Words Festival in Peterborough, Shake the Dust National Final and Norwich Fringe Festival. Shey Hargreaves is primarily a scriptwriter, experimenting with radio and screen writing. Her recent collaborative project with Tim Lawrence, ‘Tales from the Pigshed’, explores the hidden history of Norwich in the form of a comedic podcasts.
