Oulton Hall

Despite the fire which devastated Oulton Hall on the 31st March the owner, Bolton Agnew, is keen for the annual gardens open day for the National Gardens Scheme to go ahead as planned on the 31st May 2015.

Fortunately the impressive 6 acre gardens were not damaged by the fire which destroyed most of the Hall. Developed over 16 years as a Chelsea designer’s own garden with herbaceous, Italian, bog, water, sunken and parterre gardens all flowing from one tempting vista to another.

Fiona Black, County Organiser for the NGS in Norfolk, commented “I am delighted that Bolton Agnew has decided to go ahead and open his garden. This is incredibly generous given the circumstances and it will be welcomed by the many visitors who love to visit this very popular garden”.
