‘TRICK OR TWEET’ AT PENSTHORPE NATURAL PARK THIS
Blow away those spooky cobwebs this Halloween by coming along to Trick or Tweet at Pensthorpe Natural Park near Fakenham in Norfolk, running from Thursday 23rd October to Sunday 2nd November 2014 from 10am to 5pm.
Visitors will discover bugs, beasts, bats and more as they are quizzed on the fun and freaky bug walk.
Mark Noble, Commercial Manager at Pensthorpe Natural Park, comments: “We’re getting into the spirit of Halloween this year with mysterious puzzles on our spooky trail, you can learn about life as a creepy crawly, discover facts on bats, meet our owl and have fun with Halloween activities in WildRootz. It’s a great way to entertain children this Halloween Half Term. Come in Halloween fancy dress and we will choose a daily winner for a family day out.”
Families can also explore the wild side at WildRootz; the natural play area at Pensthorpe Natural Park. It has shallow streams to splash through, dens to build, underground burrows to explore, a giant 12m high winding slide, ‘The Flyway’ zipwire, ‘The Inbetreeners’ greatassault course and more gentle areas for younger children.
Halloween also marks the start of the popular daily winter floodlit feeds fromt 4pm. Watch the birds flock for a magical insight into the range of rare and colourful birds at Pensthorpe Natural Park just before dusk sets in. Sit in the Viewing Gallery and learn about the different breeds of birds this fully commentated event.
Entry to Trick or Tweet is included in the regular Pensthorpe Natural Park entrance price.
£11.25 for Adults, £9.50 for Seniors and £ 8.00 for children aged 3-16. 25% of every entry fee goes towards the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust Charity 1100589 – Actively Saving Species.
