Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital fete

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will be opening its doors to the public from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 10th June 2017 for its open day and fete.

Visitors will be able to see what goes on behind the scenes at the hospital, browse the fete stalls for cakes and crafts, enjoy the live music, or look around the careers fair. There will be free entry and free car parking on the day with any funds raised from the event going to the hospital’s charity.

Key attractions at the open day include the offer of a free NHS health check, finding out what goes on in an operating theatre, behind the scenes tours including the skin cancer microscope, making a plaster mould of your hand, taking part in traditional fete games or taking your teddy for an X-ray before meeting the Scratby Donkeys who are coming free of charge to help raise money for the hospital charity.

The 6th Regiment Army Air Corp (6AAC), 160 medical squadron and 3rd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment will be attending the event. A team of army experts from 6AACwill be providing visitors the chance to test their climbing skills with a mobile climbing wall or enquire about a career in the forces.
