Slaughter in the Scout Hut!

Crime writers come to Southwold

The Friends of Southwold Library are running the library’s first mini crime-writing festival.

‘Slaughter in the Scout Hut’ will take place on Saturday 29 June 2013,

at the Scout Hut in Mights Road near the library with several published crime authors giving talks about their books.

The confirmed authors so far include Ruth Dugdall, Penny Hancock, Erin Kelly, Kate Rhodes and Nicola Upson. Anyone coming along will have a chance to chat to the authors over lunch and signed copies of their books will be on sale. Nicola  Upson and Ruth Dugdall are local authors from Suffolk.

The event is being held in association with The Crime Writers Association.

It’s free to listen to the authors and it’s £10 for lunch.

Anyone interested can call Southwold Library on 01502 722519.
