Deepdale Spring Market

This weekend sees Burnham Deepdale really waking up for Spring.  The second annual Deepdale Spring Market opens its doors for three days of ‘not on the high street’ shopping on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 5pm.  The inaugural Deepdale Hygge, Deepdale’s weekend long festival of the North Norfolk Coast, kicks off on Friday evening.  And to top off the weekend, the first North Norfolk Coast Hygge Fair takes place on Saturday.

Deepdale Spring Market hosts over fifty Norfolk artisans & producers at Dalegate Market, and visitors are invited for three days of Spring shopping.  The stalls are in large marquees amongst the permanent shops and Deepdale Cafe.  You’ll find very tasty food & drink, toys, homewares, clothing, jewellery, accessories, art, photography, soaps, beers, spirits and of course chocolates.

Friday will offer a calm days shopping, potentially with a few stall holders giving a nod to Red Nose Day.  Deepdale Cafe are making special red nose cakes & cookies, as part of their tasty offering for the day.  Why not escape to the North Norfolk Coast for some shopping, a walk, and some lunch or afternoon tea.

Saturday is not just about shopping, although you may take as long as you like wandering through the marquees of stalls.  As an extra to the ‘not on the high street’ shopping, you can try a segway with GoApe, discover the wonders of the North Norfolk Coast with the National Trust and RSPB, and discover activities and attractions from this beautiful part of the world.  These stands form the first North Norfolk Coast Hygge Fair on the campground beside Deepdale Visitor Information Centre.

Sunday is of course Mothers Day, and what better way to celebrate than to enjoy wonderful local produce and artisans stalls at Deepdale Spring Market, while visiting the North Norfolk Coast with your Mum.  Why not treat her to brunch, lunch or afternoon tea.

Deepdale Spring Market is open from 10am to 4pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  Entrance to the market is FREE, and there is also FREE car parking.  The full list of stalls at the Deepdale Spring Market can be found online at www.deepdalespringmarket.co.uk

North Norfolk Coast Hygge Fair

Deepdale Hygge is a new festival, primarily for those staying at Deepdale Backpackers & Camping.  There’s live music, guided activities, star gazing and other activities.  There are still a few camping pitches left for tents, campervans or motorhomes, and a few Saturday afternoon/evening tickets for those staying elsewhere.  To see the programme for the weekend or book accommodation & tickets, please visit the website at www.deepdalehygge.co.uk

As Spring begins, Burnham Deepdale again becomes the place to be.  We look forward to you joining us for shopping, music, activities, food, drink and of course the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
