A first rate strawberry tea will be held on Saturday 16th June 2012, 2.30-5pm, at 17 Upper Grange Road, Beccles, with live music (Waveney Strings, Waveney Flutes and Dumbelles hand-bell ringers), raffle, stalls and more, all in aid of the schools and community events in this year’s Beccles Music Festival.

This year these include a fun and interactive first encounter with musical instruments for Year 2 pupils, an exciting and witty introduction to woodwind instruments for older pupils by the Puffin Ensemble, plus the well-established community projects, the Festival Chorus and Festival Orchestra. Children’s events are entirely free to schools and pupils and all Festival events are FREE to under 16s.
