Eleven students recently took part in the JumpstART! photography course, held in Smithsrow 2, Bury St Edmunds.

The course was run by professional photographers James Fletcher and Albert Robb, and accredited by OCN. The tutors lead an exciting programme, covering still life, portraits and studio lighting, landscapes, flora and fauna, street photography and reportage, abstract photography including formal elements of design and technical instruction including image composition.

The students visited the wardrobe department of the Theatre Royal, the Walled Garden at Thornham and the Beyond the Image Gallery.

At the end of the course the students exhibited their work in the Debenhams Café at the Arc shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds.
