Summer Exhibitions at Wingfield Barns

One of the highlights of the summer season in East Anglia is the International Miniprint exhibition at Wingfield Barns.  The exhibition which has been running annually since 1995 in Wingfield is curated by Ian Chance who is currently course director for the MA Creative Entrepreneurship course at the University of East Anglia.

There are over 650 prints from 50 countries worldwide. This year’s collection is bound to delight both visitors and collectors alike as it provides the opportunity to buy and own original works of art created by contemporary artists at very affordable prices.

In Gallery 1 this year the Harleston & Waveney Art Trail Collective will be exhibiting ‘Little Gems – the affordable art show’ with a selection of small scale drawings, paintings, prints, mosaics and textiles. The thirty professional artists who open their studios annually all live within a ten mile radius of Harleston and regularly collaborate in additional group exhibitions with some having solo shows throughout the year.

Admission is free to both exhibitions from Friday 12th August to Sunday 11th September 11-4pm, Wednesdays to Sundays.
