Café Nova, George St., Gt Yarmouth

The Melting Pot
New cabaret nights in Great Yarmouth

A new series of weekly cabaret nights called The Melting Pot provides an exciting new addition to the list of Yarmouth nightlife.

The venue is Café Nova on George Street (end of Broad Row) and the nights begin every Tuesday at 8pm.

Whether you’re from Fritton or Faro, Romford or Riga, The Melting Pot offers a creative space for musicians, comedians, writers, poets and artists at all levels of ability.

If this is you (or you know someone like this), then get in contact on 0774 839 4667.

Or just be a regular audience member, and sample the multicultural/multinational ambience and world-class tapas (£2 entrance, on the door).

Next week’s line-up (Tuesday 15 April) is:

Luke Wright
– nationally profiled poet, also appearing at Glastonbury, Edinburgh Festival and Latitude this year.

Spidermilk
– Norwich based acoustic band

Dan McKee
– stand up comedian and founder of the Salt Box Comedy Club in Norwich

Kit Cecconi
– local folk musician

Paddy Lappin
– a wit & raconteur, evangelising about how great the 90’s were (amongst other things)

And all hosted and compered by Yanny Mac (ex-Aisle16, Yanny&Paddy, and chocolate-salesperson).
