‘First Star on the Right and Straight on Till Morning’

Thetford Players are looking for the next stars of panto as they hold open auditions for their annual pantomime on Saturday 11 July from 10.30am at Fulmerston Church, Fulmerston Road, Thetford.

Following the huge success of ‘Jack & the Beanstalk’, the amateur dramatic group are journeying to Neverland for their 2016 show with ‘Peter Pan – A Pantomime Adventure’ by Stephen Duckham, based on the play by J M Barrie.

Anyone who is interested in auditioning is invited to come along to an Information Afternoon the week before on Saturday 4 July, 2.00pm – 4.30pm also at Fulmerston Church, Thetford to find out about the show as well as audition details. For those who wish to stay there will also be a script read through starting about 2.45pm.

Following the Information Afternoon, all audition details will be available from the Thetford Players website at www.thetfordplayers.co.uk .

Caroline Foot, returning as Director for her third pantomime, said “Auditions are just as nerve wracking for me as Director as you want to get the casting right, but they are also really exciting as you never know who is going to walk through the door and impress you with their audition. I can’t wait to see what surprises this year’s auditions bring!”

Shows will take place between 15 – 23 January 2016, with performances on the Fridays and Saturdays. Ticket details will follow in the coming months.
