We’ve only got a few days left here in Halesworth before HighTide 2014 comes to an end, so you simply must pop in and see us before we go!

Coming up we’ve got further performances of The Big Meal ★★★★, Incognito ★★★★★peddling ★★★★ and, The Girl’s Guide to Saving the World ★★★★, Eastern Angles’ Palm Wine and Stout, the 2014 Escalator Plays readings, live jazz and stunning theatre meet inInheritance Blues, the final installment in the extremely successful Face to Face series, withMichael Gambon and Michael Billington, and finally, the festival closing party on Saturday 19th April accompanied by the brilliant Gentlemen of the Shade. high-tide-big-meal high-tide-peddling Harry Melling will make his debut as a writer at the festival with his one man show peddling the trailer for which, you can watch here.

  high-tide-girls-guide Elinor Cook, winner of the George Devine award brings her new play The Girls Guide to Saving the World, and finally, Nick Payne returns to the festival with his dazzling new script Incognito. high-tide-incognito We’ve also got a wealth of Visiting Companies including Inheritance Blues by DugOut Theatre and Eastern Angles’ new show, Palm Wine and Stout, as well as returning music from the Hackney Colliery Band and Ronnie Scott’s Late Night Jazz. We have four brilliant readings and what’s more, our fantastic Face to Face series, featuring interviews with industry giants such as David Hare, Anthony Horowitz, Kate Mosse, Michael Billington and Michael Gambon as they all talk about their careers in writing, performance, and theatre. We’re super excited about getting the 8th Annual HighTide Festival off to a great start and cannot wait for you to join us next week! However in the mean time, you can still book tickets for all of our events here. And if you’re under 25 and live in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridge or Oxford, you qualify for our Garfield Weston Foundation Tickets, which allow you free access to any of the shows within our schedule, subject to availibility.
