The 2012 series of monthly practical gardening workshops run on behalf of the  National Gardens Scheme (NGS)  in Norfolk  by Shirley Gilbert at Hill Cottage in Edinthorpe, Norfolk NR28 9SY have again proved popular following the first series in 2011.

Shirley, who will soon  be celebrating her 80th  birthday, will run the workshops for the last time in 2013.

The workshops  are designed to take participants through all aspects of the gardening year. They are also tailored to the needs of the individual and are ideal for beginners. Each session runs from 10am to 4pm and costs £45 including lunch and tea.

Shirley said “ I am delighted participants  have found the workshops helpful, and really pleased they are inspiring a new generation of gardeners, who will hopefully open their gardens for the National Gardens Scheme in the future!”

These workshops will make excellent and practical presents for Christmas or birthdays, and so gift vouchers will be available.   To book and find out more details just contact Shirley on 01692 403519
