With just over a month to go until the 11th East Anglian Dragon Boat Festival takes place on Oulton Broad in Lowestoft on Sunday 14th May, local companies and organisations took advantage of a unique opportunity to see a full-size dragon boat and find out more about the event at an Open Day held at Hotel Victoria in Lowestoft last week.

Norfolk Deaf Association (NDA) is marking the start of Deaf Awareness Week 2017 with a Tandem Parachute Jump on Sunday, May 14 at Ellough Airfield, Beccles to raise funds for its vital services supporting people with hearing loss in Norfolk.

Libraries in Suffolk are gearing up for more live music in the next few weeks with live gigs at Beccles and Ipswich libraries. This follows several successful live music events over the past year at Ipswich, Thurston and Glemsford libraries.

GREAT Yarmouth Borough Council has approved its first grants to help businesses and social enterprises improve their town centre frontages, with a total of £8,500 agreed in relation to five successful applicants. Town Centre Shopfront Improvement Scheme.
