A painting by artist Karen Johnson Davies

Following the launch of the N&N Hospitals Charity new Boudicca Breast Cancer Appeal in October, local artist Karen Johnson Davies has been inspired to donate to the fund, the proceeds from the sale of her paintings at the Art Fair East.

The Art Fair East 2018 will have hundreds of works by international and regional artists on show and for sale from 29th November until 2nd December at St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich.

Karen’s current collection is inspired and dedicated to the Boudicca Breast Cancer Appeal at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).

Karen said: “I’m delighted to support the Boudicca Appeal. I have been involved in Health and Social Care throughout my working life and I, like many others, have a personal connection to the campaign and hope that my paintings express a sense of optimism, fragility and strength.

“The paintings on show at the launch of the appeal were a sample of my current collection which is being exhibited at Art Fair East and all proceeds of the works will be donated to Boudicca.”

Louise Cook, Head of Fundraising, said: “We hope people will be inspired, like Karen, to use their talents to fundraise and help us reach our target sooner. ‘’
