Aylsham-Burns-Night-Supper

Aylsham Burns Night Supper

Haggis, neeps and tatties will once again feature on the menu for Cittaslow Aylsham’s Burns Night Supper. Now in its third year, the Supper – which takes place in Aylsham Town Hallon Saturday 25 January – has proved a great success and with tickets at just £15, it’s quite a bargain too!

The evening, which for the first time will be presented in association with Slow Food Aylsham, will follow the traditional format. Scottish music, speeches, songs, the Address to the Haggis will accompany a meal of haggis, neeps and tatties followed by a delicious cranachan dessert.

For those who don’t appreciate the delights of the haggis, there will be a cottage pie alternative with a vegetarian option. A ‘wee dram’ is included with the meal and there will be a licensed bar.

Tickets for what promises to be another outstanding evening are available from Salad Days Fruit & Veg and Barnwells newsagents, both in Aylsham Market Place.
