It’s back! Slow Food Aylsham’s popular ‘Foodie Quiz’ is making a welcome return on Saturday 11th May.
With over 100 questions featuring links – no matter how obscure – to food and drink, food lovers are assured of a fun night that’s designed for all the family.
Quizmaster Roger Willis has again trawled through his reference books, the internet and other dark places to come up with the questions, ranging from lighthearted subjects like Jasper Carrot (geddit?), to the more esoteric, “ingredients of Welsh Cakes”.
The Quiz, now in its 4th year, will be in Aylsham Town Hall and during the interval, quizzers will be served with a Savoury Pie Platter comprising locally sourced ingredients. Liquid refreshment will be available from a licensed bar.
Tickets, at just £7 per person – including supper – are available from Salad Days fruit and veg stall in Aylsham Market Place or by phoning 07833 096931. Proceeds from the Quiz will go to help finance this year’s Aylsham Food Festival which runs from 4th to 6th October 2013.
