After a great day of Taekwondo Competition which included individual Patterns, Sparring, Tag Sparring, Special Techniques and Destruction, jointly the clubs brought back 12 medals, which included 5 British Champions!
Bungay medallists were: Colour Belts – Buster Aspinall (12) Gold Sparring, Eleanor Kay (15) Gold Patterns, Kirsten Mills (16) Silver Patterns Black Belts – Callum Read (12) Gold Sparring and Bronze Patterns, Mr Gillett Gold Patterns and Silver Sparring
Other Bungay competitors competed well and just missed out on the medals, but will be determined to come back stronger next year.
Beccles had 5 students at the championships and each came back with a hard earned medal: Colour Belts – John Culling Gold Patterns, Mark Baldry Bronze Sparring, Jason Drake Bronze Sparring Black Belts – Mrs Bedingfield Silver Patterns, Mr Bedingfield Silver Patterns
Both clubs welcome new students to come and try ITF Taekwondo, ages 6 and up, the 1st session is free!
