Beccles Library will be closed for two days next week – Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 March.
The closure is due to unavoidable essential maintenance associated with replacing the library’s heating system. The Leap Centre and Waveney District Council services which now operate from the building will also be closed during this period.
The library will re-open on Thursday 27 March, at 9.30am but the library will temporarily be without heating until Friday 4 April.
Suffolk Libraries apologises for any inconvenience this closure may cause. Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Bungay, Southwold and Halesworth Libraries will be open as usual and customers can renew books using the Suffolk Libraries website www.suffolklibraries.co.uk or call our enquiry line 01473 263838. Loans can also be left in the book drop letterbox and loans due back during the closure will have their dates adjusted. For any other queries about the closure people can call the library on 01502 714073.
Waveney District Council customers can contact the Marina Centre in Lowestoft or the local offices in Bungay and Halesworth which will be open as usual.
