Blossom and Yarn Festival

The Blossom and Yarn Festival is A Spectacular Knitting and Flower Festival Across Six Wayland Churches in rural Norfolk:

Breckles

Caston

Great Hockham

Griston

Stow Bedon

Thompson

Friday 10th July to Monday 13th July from 10am to 6pm

Teams of knitters from the villages have been working since January 2014, producing literally thousands of knitted squares, which are in turn being transformed into six amazing displays featuring life-size people, animals, cakes, giant flowers and hundreds of other items.

The churches will be open throughout the weekend, and home-made refreshments will be available at all locations, sustaining visitors as they make the tour.

There is a special preview evening (tickets are limited) on Thursday 9th July when the festival will be formally opened by the Bishop of Norwich – however if you miss him, our own Knitted Bishop will be popping up at all the locations over the weekend.
