1921.  In a mansion not far from Paris, Marguerite Dumont is about to take centre stage…  Nobody knows much about the mysterious Marguerite except that she has devoted her whole life to music.  Featuring a witty script, ravishing visuals and a wonderful soundtrack including pieces by Bach, Vivaldi and Mozart, this exquisitely dressed costume drama was a huge success in France and has been enthusiastically reviewed in this country.
