Starring: Lubna Azabal. In French/Arabic with English subtitles.
Canadian twins make a life-altering discovery following the death of their mother, Nawal. When they learn that they have a brother about whom they knew nothing, and a father still living, the pair travel to the Middle east to learn more about their past. This stirring film, which combines twists and suspense with harrowing political insight, was nominated for both BAFTA and Oscar awards. Intense and absorbing, but not an easy watch.
