Bungay Film Club presents IDA (12A) 29 June 2015

This Polish drama set in the 60s tells a powerful story and won this year’s Oscar and BAFTA Awards for Best Film in a Foreign Language. Anna has led a sheltered life in a convent and is preparing to become a nun. Mother Superior insists that Anna visit her only living relative, to learn about her family before taking her vows. IDA is not only an exploration of Poland’s past, but also an engaging story about a young woman finding out about life.
