Bungay Lions do Sunday Lunch

www.bungaylions.org.uk

November 6th sees the start of a brand new event from the Bungay Area Lions Club. The traditional Sunday dinner has always been a firm favourite whatever the age group.

So to celebrate Bungay Area Lions Club 42nd year we decided to combine a lovely Sunday lunch whilst raising money for a good local community cause.

The Falcon Meadow Community Trust will benefit, with the funds raised going towards providing benches, tables and creating a more disabled friendly area, so all can use this beautiful local area.

The menu will be the traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and gravy and will be followed by a dessert course of a fruit meringue plus tea, coffee, soft drinks or water, or diners may provide their own drink if they prefer. There will also be available a Nut Roast option vegetarians and also child portions available at half the price. The meal will be cooked by this year’s Lion President Jane Gardiner and assisted by Lion club members, all who have culinary skills. There will also be a raffle prize competition.

The event will take place at Broome Village Hall (serving will commence at 1.00pm) where there is plenty of parking plus all the other usual facilities and the added bonus of a terrific outdoor play area for children.

So if you want to take it easy on Sunday but still have a great meal, whilst making a contribution to a good local cause then please come along to this event.

Prices are £8 for adults and £4 for children 12 and under.

Spaces are limited so don’t delay and call Jane or Michael on 01986 892381or Tracy or Karl on 01986 469194 to reserve your seats and arrange payment method.
