Bungay-Mardlers

The Fisher Theatre Bungay last wednesday staged the Variety Galore Show, to a sell out audience, this involved local artists.

There were two surprises of the evening firstly, Doreen Reed well known Poet and Storyteller from north Norfolk, who recently wrote a song for the Lowestoft Signing Choir, and during the show a debut to the song LOVE TALKS was sung for the very first time.

Plus the people of Bungay again for the very first time at the Fisher saw the local humour from The BUNGAY MARDLERS.

The other stars of the show included the Beccles based choir of FRIENDS IN HARMONY  under the leadership of Bram Bryant.

Solists of REBEKAH TESTRO, SOPHIE PEPPERELL  and  LAURIE ATKINS  gave excellent performances to the enjoyment of the audience.

The Compere for the evening was MIKE DANIELS who kept everyone laughing with the one liners during introducing the stars of the show.

An interlude during the first half saw the arrival of Daisy the Cow trying to find her way to Cundy’s farm.

At the end of the show a big Finale took place with everyone joining in to the big applause of ‘We’ll meet again’.  And  ‘Land of Hope and Glory’.

The show was devised by Mike Daniels Productions to support the Town Reeve of Bungay  Mr Richard Cundy Charity Appeal for the Scouts and Guides of Bungay and Earsham,  Members of the Scouts and Guides attended the evening to help with and sell programmes and Raffle tickets.
