The 2019 Christmas Art and Craft Show in Association with Designermakers 21, opens at The Burston Crown on the 17th November and runs until Christmas day  – in case you need to buy that very very last minute gift.

The show features the work of 10 local artists and craft makers and covers sculpture, textiles, jewellery, mosaics, glassware and woodwork.

Marie Hamilton, a textiles craft maker at Designer makers 21 said, “we are very much looking forward to installing this new exhibition at The Burston Crown this week.

The summer exhibition, as part of the Norwich and Norfolk Festival Open Studios at the pub, was very successful producing sales of artworks and new visitors to our studios in Diss. Bev and Steve are wonderful patron’s of art and craft, original live music and theatre as well as all the hard work they put into running the best village pub and restaurant in the area”.

Bev Kemberey from the Burston Crown said, “we are so looking forward to the new art and craft arriving this week ready to be put on our walls. The art and craft we display at the Burston Crown generates so much interest from our current customers and brings new customers in.  Since the summer exhibition as part of the Norwich Festival we have displayed a retrospective collection of watercolour landscapes of Spain by David Hutter a past member of the Royal Watercolour Society, so there is always interesting art and craft to see”.
