Christmas at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden

The Christmas season at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, South Walsham, begins  with the launch of the Christmas Bauble Trail.

Hunt for the colourful Christmas baubles in the woodland garden and enjoy the fun activities, as you find out about the birds that live here during the winter. The trail, which runs every day until Sunday, January 5, 10am to 4pm (closed Christmas Day) is included in garden entry charge: adult £6.85, concessions £6.60, child (5-16) £3.95, under 5 free and free for Fairhaven members.

Father Christmas and his reindeer are visiting on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, from 11am to 5pm. Father Christmas will be tucked away among the trees in his woodland yurt. There will also be a Christmas Market (free entry) featuring gift ideas and tasty treats from local businesses on December 14 and 15, plus live seasonal music and an Elves’ Workshop with Christmas crafts to keep the children busy. Hot seasonal food and mulled wine will be on offer in the tearoom.

On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, there will be special guided tours of the garden, beginning at 11am and finishing with complimentary mulled wine and mince pies in the tearoom. The tours are included in the garden entry charge (booking recommended).

The tearoom is offering a special festive menu in the run up to Christmas; parties catered for (up to 25 people) for lunch and evening meals.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is open daily, 10am to 4pm in the winter (just closed Christmas Day), with the tearoom opening for breakfast at 9.45am. The garden is at South Walsham, NR13 6DZ.
